Cat® Certified Used is Caterpillar’s premium used equipment program.
It means you’re buying a used Cat machine that’s been thoroughly inspected, professionally serviced, and backed by a warranty—giving you nearly new reliability without the new-equipment price.
Equipment Protection Plan (EPP)
Comprehensive coverage protects more than 70 different powertrain and hydraulics components. Expert repairs are done right the first time, by highly-trained technicians using genuine Cat parts.
Service History Available
You’ll know exactly where your machine was used, what it was used for and how it was maintained. We share that with you before you buy, so you can make an informed decision.
140-Point Inspection
A trained technician performs a full inspection—inside and out:
- Walk-around and visual check
- Operational testing (engine, hydraulics, electronics)
- Fluid sampling to check internal health.
If something doesn’t pass, it gets repaired or replaced.
Late Model Equipment
Only lightly used, low-hour Cat equipment qualifies for certification. Cat Used Certified machines help reduce your risk, lower your maintenance surprises, and give you the performance of a newer model—without the new-equipment price tag.
